The health and wellbeing of all our staff is a key concern for us, as we believe it has an impact on motivation and productivity within everyday life.

To demonstrate our commitment to Wellbeing we have introduced some tangible initiatives.

Health

  • Providing fresh fruit daily in all of our offices (the healthy alternative to biscuits!).
  • Offering the option of an annual flu vaccination.
  • Confidential, external counselling services

Recreation/Sport

  • Through our partnership with Fitness First, staff can access corporate membership rates and as an extra incentive, the firm contributes to the sign up fee.
  • Every office is involved in sporting activities, such as touch football, sports carnivals/events and Life Be In It programs.

Flexibility

Piper Alderman also recognises the need to support staff when balancing their work and home life. We have flexible policies to recognise requests for work arrangements which support people with family responsibilities. The firm also offers paid parental leave.

Social club

We have an active social club which organises events throughout the year, including regular Friday night drinks, special occasion functions, End of Year Dinners etc. The firm also supports various charities through donations received from staff as part of our casual-dress Fridays.
