Amanda is a partner in Piper Alderman’s Dispute Resolution division and is based in our Sydney office. Her practice encompasses a broad range of corporate and commercial litigation matters with a particular emphasis on matters relating to the Corporations legislation, bankruptcy, State and Federal trade practices legislation, negligence and contractual disputes.
Amanda has led a number of high profile insolvencies such as the administration and liquidation of Lehman Brothers Australia Limited. Her significant experience includes leading numerous multi-million disputes in the Federal Court and High Court of Australia and she is the partner in a multi-million dollar class action against a global investment bank and the only litigation in Australia against a global credit rating ratings agency.
She was recently named as an Australian "Local Dispute Star" for Restructuring and Insolvency in Legal Meda Group Euromoney's 2013 Benchmark Asia-Pacific - The definitive guide to the leading dispute firms and lawyers in the region.
