The Piper Alderman IP Coach^TM training program will develop your skills to more effectively manage your organisation's intellectual property and help create a sustainable competitive advantage for the organisation's products. The IP Coach^TM training program is designed to blend commercial objectives, and path to market issues, with legal knowledge of intellectual property laws.

The IP Coach^TM training program is brought to you by Piper Alderman, corporate and commercial lawyers with offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane practising in the intellectual property and technology commercialisation space.

We offer IP Coach^TM training to a range of clients across the publicly funded research sector and the commercial sector, from SMEs to large corporates, for skills development that will lead to more commercial and effective intellectual property management and, importantly, more commercially focused R&D activity.

The Piper Alderman IP Coach^TM comprises an intensive coaching session using IP CoachTM materials, including customised case studies based on your organisation's own products or technology. We prepare the case studies using the IP Coach^TM “Product Profiler” which relates the relevant intellectual property laws to the context of the product life cycle and production phases.

The IP Coach^TM training program is designed to be flexible, so we can customise it to meet the needs of your organisation, and can be delivered cost-effectively through an intensive half-day coaching session.

We will be pleased to discuss providing an introductory one hour presentation on a no-charge basis, in which we introduce some of our team members and the IP Coach^TM training program, including a short role play which raises a number of IP management issues.
